Merlin basically has all his recruits right now, we still have 6 or 8 4-5star guys that will leave Mullen in the dust if we get some of them. He is doing a fairly good job considering it is his 5th year doing it.

Had no idea Northeast Community College was recruiting at such a high level.

Yeah, glad to know we won't be filling our last 7 slots with a couple big time recruits still on the board. We should just give up now!

15th on 247 and 22nd composite- it's Merlins highest class yet. Hell, we been to 3 straight bowls with alot lower rated classes

NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP IN THE MAKING!

Lets say if we hire Townsend and somehow get a commit from Connor where would that rank our class?

your team is worse now than it was in Merlin's first year, on some real levels

And just look how much y'all have been improving these last couple years. Hell, just look how much you improved as this year alone went along...

Mullens first 2 recruiting classes weren't that good, his last 2 have been solid and this years will be also.

We are at that point where a lot of Crooms good talent is gone and Mullens good recruits are still too young. We have a lot of young talent that is not seeing the field much.

still too young for what? You know players can do good early in college if they're actually good.

2. Donte' Moncrief
3. JFF
I mean I could keep going.

2nd year player... just like Freshman All-American Benardrick McKinney. Do you really think in all the defensive talent that we stockpiled last year that we won't have a handful of those guys emerge as bigtime playmakers?

Our 10 and 11 classes sucked. Won't find any MSU fans to argue with on that one. The 09 and 12 classes were very good, the 13 class is going to be very good, and the 14 class has the best and deepest talent pool in MS in 09, with much of it falling in traditional MSU strongholds for a change.

We lose a total of 17 scholarship seniors this year and 14 next year. At no position will there be a talent downgrade in the upcoming season...at least not based on HS recruiting "experts". Make no mistake -- we are still a "young" team -- with 60 scholarship players that are sophs or younger.

Got his arse whipped in 2011 -- and that's the class that destroyed him on the field this past year. 2012 was an entirely different story...
