PF Cameron Lard is transferring to Landry-Walker to play with PG Lamar-Peters who they already played together with on the NOLA Elite AAU team (Adidas) - looks to be all MSU considering the move and LSU has backed off at this point

LSU is pushing hard for McDonough 35 players PG DeJon Jarreau and SF/PF Brison Gresham who both play together on Elfrid Payton's AAU team (Nike)

The brands are once again playing a big part in these basketball recruitments from what I'm hearing. As Howland is an Adidas guy and LSU is Nike. Both Peters and Jarreau tore things up this summer and would be the top 2 players in the state IMO.

PF Robert Williams is of course an aTm commit but there seems to be a lot of question if he can qualify grades wise. IF he gets in, he might be the best F in the state this year, very good player.

PG Skylar Mays, a one time LSU commit, is transferring to Findlay Prep in Las Vegas, and decided this shortly after coming back from a trip to visit UNLV - so putting 2 and 2 together, looks like he ends up out west in Vegas for college.

Thanks for the update. I think Lard is actually supposed to announce fairly soon. That will give us 2 four stars to start off the 2017 class.

You mean 2016.

And yeah Lard to MSU is pretty much a done deal at this point. Crazy how much shoe companies play such a big role in basketball recruiting. Really makes you wonder what they feed to these kids.
