It'll change things if the 2 added wins are against lsu and bama. I'd take that start in the rebuild

You only won 2 games last year and you’re taking down the evil empire?

I don’t think so..........

That's not how it works. At all.

Arkansas is going to be the perennial cellar dweller in the sec west. They can't compete with LSU, bama, auburn, Texas am in recruiting. They might be able to compete with ole miss and state, but that is going to be the extent of Chad morris' success in arky. Sorry, but it's the truth. This division is a 4 team race.

Those teams have always recruited better than us yet we lead the series over A&M and LSU has only been to Atlanta two more times than we have.

Like it or not we typically beat LSU and Auburn about once every three years since we joined the conference. Alabama is the only one of those to dominate us and that series was extremely close before Saban too. We are in one our worst stretches in school history right now though so it’s understandable that some would have recency bias.

Hogs recruiting took a big step with this coaching staff. Proof needed now that they can coach football.
Hogs have been very low in recruiting compared to most in the sec, yet hogs have a better record against lsu during the schools 8 yr low point than a$mm.

A$M has owned Ar during those 8 yrs, always recruited better, got busted cheating several times as has ole miss, aubie, miss state and yet hogs hold a large lead in tbe series.

Hogs did very well against aubie until this 8 yr stretch.

Recruiting is huge but not everything. Hopefully the low ebb is over and hogs return to at least competitive

Ok. So you're banking on LSU, bama, auburn, and Texas am all being down at the same time basically to have a shot. Those are horrible odds. With the west powers progressing like they are, I just don't see arkansas being able to keep up. The gap is going to get wider and wider. Arkansas is just not going to be able to compete.

Who is progressing? Maybe A&M, but the other three are recruiting just as good as they did 5-10 years ago and Auburn and LSU arguably have worse coaching situations than they did back then with both fan bases wanting them fired at a drop of a hat.

Honestly none of us are going to be able to compete with Bama. The rest of us will probably just beat each other up with A&M, LSU and Auburn maybe having a few more wins than the others but not much else to show for it any given year as long as Saban is there.
