Yep. Avery, who is there, says LSU. He also said he is working on Pool and Edwards. Why pool idk
Geno Smith says Bama... Even though he is not there.
Someone HAS to be right!

What I'm hearing right now is all Bama, and LSU is in serious scramble mode. I'll know for sure on Wed, but right now looks pretty good.
Regardless of whether or not LSU pulls it off, either way it makes sense for the family to show outward affection to LSU. They have to live 30 minutes away, there are children left to be recruited and at school, and if they show love for LSU, it's a lot harder for people to shun the family, as opposed to them saying they are excited for him to go to Alabama.
If I lived in Dutchtown and my kid wanted to go to Alabama, I'd want to be able to go to the grocery store without people shooting me a bird.
Either way, I guess we'll see... it'll be interesting to see how it all shakes out.

I really hope Brandon Hill qualifies. He is exactly what Alabama needs as a road grading RT. Young is a good player but he needs to put on 30-40 pounds to be effective in the SEC.

I like that he is recruiting for us
Is think he'd be a good seller as well "hi I'm Patrick Peterson's little brother would you like to play with me at LSU?"

He's got a whole semester and summer to get it done. It's not hard to sell that distance between Collierville TN and Tuscaloosa. It's not far, and Memphis state is in shambles. They don't even have an on campus workout facility for the football team. Let alone a stadium.

What?? How is that even possible in D 1? Nowhere to workout? Turrible!

Hill has the size and experience, he played both ways this season, to move over to NG if he can't pick up Alabama's blocking schemes too. He has tremendous upside at two positions of need. I hope he makes the grades.

Memphis is a basketball school.

I get that but nowhere to workout? I bet the bk players have somewhere to get some work in.

The fricking Pyramid baby!!

I should have clarified. They have one, but they share. They don't have a separate faculty of their own worth a damn. Until the president is fired it will always be basketball first.
Fwiw the pyramid is sinking into the earth.

It's keeping them optimistic

From what I can tell, both LSU and Alabama recruiting "experts" feel that Collins will choose their respective paying fanbases. In my experience, that normally works out best for the home school.
Don't get me wrong, but I just don't see Collins picking Alabama now. A month ago I did. Now, not so much. I hope I'm wrong and Bama telling Eddie Williams that he will start out at WR can't hurt our chances, but I will have to see it to believe it.
The one area I see Alabama possibly having the advantage is that LSU has more success developing CBs than Safeties. Alabama can point out the recent success of Mark Barron and Robert Lester.
