there isn't much of a gap in the talent disparity. It will come down to who has the best qb play. The days of bus driver qb's winning NC's is long gone. The game is more and more like the NFL. This will be a fun watch for years to come.

Only if one team has a much better QB than the others, like Burrow. If no team has a generational talent, it will come down to more than QB play.

That being said, the kid that went to Bama concerns me the most and has the best chance to be that QB.

Ok. I will stack LSUs talent every season up against anybody's in the nation. Elite Talent is never a problem for LSU. It will never be either. If we had a competent qb during the last several seasons with Miles, LSU would have won a couple more Natty's. Qb is the most important position on a football team. LSU will continue competing for titles for sure.

He will probably have the quickest impact. Still, qb play is the key across the board. The rest of the talent is close for the top 6 teams in the SEC.

This is a very strange response to my post and really bitchy and defensive. I did not say one thing about LSU not competing for titles.

Overall talent will still take precedent unless a generational QB is in play for a team.

Disagree. Exhibit A. 2014 LSU. Second ranked class in the SEC. Qb sucked and the team was underwhelming. In fact, they were so bad on offense Miles didn't even get to stick around for that class to be seniors.
