some kids on volnation who were trolled
Those clowns troll themselves. They get their hopes up for tons of highly rated prospects, and then get mad/upset/sad when they don't land them (when they never really had a chance). Watching them meltdown about Gabe Wright, Derrick Green, and Carl Lawson was pure entertainment. And I look forward to more meltdowns this year.

To be fair - Gabe Wright trolled everyone. Derrick Green - we had a lead then things went south obviously and lost any chance with the coaching turmoil. Lawson was an outside shot but certainly no reason for UT to have expected him to flip.

People constantly are making troll accounts and claiming insiders on the cesspool of a website - or 17 year old recruiting "gurus" making blind sunshine pumping predictions in an attempt to build that coveted "e-cred" and the other sunshine pumpers blindly believe and follow it rather than think for themselves. The worst part is the mods protect all these sheep - OCIvol (aka Sabannochio) is my favorite POS over there.

So knowing a family of 1 recruit now makes me an insider for all of college football recruiting?

Success.

No, claiming you know a recruit makes you the same type of loser who lies on message boards to gain e cred.

So what about the people who actually know one? We all trolls, huh?

Andrew Bone ?@AndrewJBone 26m Shaun's father told me that Alabama was his No.1 school from day one. Wanted son to make own choice. Named him after Shaun Alexander.

quote:

Soooo he named him after a high schooler? Hamilton was born in 95. Alexander graduated in 00. Those bammers sure are fricking strange

auzach brought up a good point. This made me LOL.

quote:

His wife was pregnant with Shaun when he was reading Sports Illustrated one day. He saw this high school player from Kentucky in the 'faces in the crowd' section. His name was Shaun Alexander who had just rushed for more than 3,000 yards in high school and an excellent student. He said to himself that if his wife had a son he was going to name him Shaun.

Had no connection to Bama at that point, it's pretty much picking a name out of a baby book.

Where are ya'll with Ronnie Clark? Is he a take for you?

Also, does AU even stand a chance or will he be driven out of state if he doesn't go UA?

Definitely. Some think he may pull the trigger this weekend, but that's just guesses. Now where his ends up position wise is another story, but he's said he likes defense more.

If it's not Bama, I'd think it'd be Auburn.

It's a bit weird that a year ago, Ronnie Clark and Shaun Hamilton were suppose to be heavy Auburn leans and Tre Williams was suppose to be a heavy Bama lean. Fast forward, it's exactly the opposite as it sits now.

I know he's Kenny Bell's cousin(seems like everyone has a cousin on Bama) and he's also good friends with Bama's top OL target, Cam Robinson.

Ya, I just can't believe that it seems like neither one will end up at Auburn after everyone seemed to think they were AU leans

We still may not get Tre. If that is the case, we are going to strike out on nearly all the initial top 150 players instate

AU will get Tre

Bama will get Lorenzo Carter

No idea on Clark it looks like Bama has a lead but it is shaping up to be a fierce in state battle
