What’s going on with state of MS HS basketball.

Composite 131 is the best player?

I remember when the state would always produce a legit player. Al Jefferson was big time and coming to Hogs but went to NBA

Not even trying to flame here but figured the state would produce a better player and confused on how #131 composite is the best

You think these guys get much attention from rivals or 247? Same goes for football. A lot of awesome players slip through the cracks.

Kid has potential but hasn’t performed on the court has problems scoring vs talented teams. Hamilton outperformed him head fo head last year

A lot of talent coming up in the 2023-2024 classes. Mississippi just produced a McDonald’s AA in Dashsun Ruffin who is a fr at Ole Miss

I was looking at the composite….

Either way 84 is right where Arkansas worst recruit is. He’s 85 on ESPN

Again wasn’t trying to shade just thought the state of MS produced better basketball talent for that to be the best surprised me.

Also to the other guy yes they watch MS HS guys. If he plays any type of AAU ball they watch him there also

They obviously watch these Arkansas HS kids

Ruffin was the 54th player in country and 4 star. Was he really a MCD AA?

He's not even in the same world as Kool-Aid McKinstry.

A couple of guys we signed went straight to the NBA, but it's been several years.
