I believe Dean was pretty much a safety for most. I know Alabama liked him at safety.

Yea but after seeing his UAA tapes...he is very strong at corner. I think it's hard to pass on his coverage skills. Though with how lacking we are at safety it may be the best bet. He is listed as a safety. Figured we would move him to nickel this year.

Ehh... I don't know about that. I may have been some of my bias creeping in, but I thought his physicality there was a little overrated. A lot of what he was doing would be called for penalties in today's CFB.
