The kid needs to be a man and decide for himself instead of letting his family push their desires on him. Thank god my parents let me make my own choices when looking at colleges.
ETA: Not a flame I would like to see him land in Oxford I just think he has handled his recruiting poorly.
Here's my thoughts on why his family is being so involved...
(by the way is it really so bad to have family to help with life decisions ... it's family ... who else would be completely honest with you and have your best interests in mind)
... First and Foremost his mother spends most if not all of her time in Africa as a congresswoman and has little time afforded to her to be able to come over and see her sons. I am sure like most mothers she just wishes the best for her kids and wishes to spend all the time she has when she comes in town with them both. Now I ask, is it not easier to have the maxium time with both them if they are to together opposed to them being 10 hours apart?
Secondly, who in their right mind knows a damn thing at 17-18, personally I know the only things that went through my mind at that age and that didn't qualify me to be the smartest man in the world, as many of you could probaly attest to the same thing. So, I am sure someone his age could use some help and guidance.
Finally to follow up on the prior point, I have to say there's the other benefit of them being together so they can watchout for each other, motivate each other, and challenge each other to be better. Plus Denzel(TAZ) is two years wiser than baby bro and that can help.
I just DON"T THINK that it is the BIG BAD FAMILY like many have portrayed it to be(not saying you did)but instead HIS FAMILY are just wanting the best for/out of him and they think that is at Ole Miss and I'm sure that if he did choose Clemson, though they might not be happy about it at first, they would support him a 100%

Yeah I understand that, I jus don't agree with the whole verbal commitment thing when it comes down to is. Regardless of who it is. It's stupid to A: wrench that commitment out of a kid as a coach and B: for the kid to commit to you and the decide that their "verbal commitment" didn't mean all that much. How tall are the two of them respectively? His brother looks way taller but I'm assuming a lot of that is the cleats on the locker room floor.

Wherever he goes the kid will be trouble and won't last. Too immature.

That is a bold claim to make about a kid you don't know. I have no personal relationship with him but he seems like a good kid from what I do know. I said he had handled recruitment poorly but it is completely understandable when you put yourself in his shoes. I met his brother (of sorts) Nick while he was at state briefly and he seemed like a great kid, he was homesick and seemed soft but still a great kid.

Because an 18 year old is tired of media bothering him 24/7 and shuts his recruiting game down? He hasn't said anything since the season started but he is too immature to make it at an SEC program?

If his brother had not made it into school he would be graduating from JUCO this year. There is 1000% chance they both would have ended up at Bama if that had happened.
