I read pretty much every post in that thread even though I was just lurking for the 1st couple months. I don't remember reading it but I suppose I could've missed it. Even if a Bama fan did make that claim, I don't believe for a second that CNS said it.

Backpedalling.

How has the Bama meltdown been so far?

I created a thread, but someone deleted it. Woolyal.com is where you want to go to see some goodies.

It was right after a recruiting dead period started in the fall, but he was also an EE.

It was actually the day the silent period began, and he enrolled at UA without anyone being able to talk to him. Very calculating to say the least.

Over the last few weeks, I’ve really put a lot of time and thought into where I want to go to school and continue my football career. I am blessed to be in a situation where I have several great opportunities and I appreciate everyone involved who has helped me get to this point.

I want to make an announcement so I can put this behind me and get to work on the things I need to do to prepare for college both athletically and academically. I am going to enroll at the University of Alabama in January. I have a lot of respect for Auburn, the coaches, and all of the people there, but at the end of the day I feel like the University of Alabama is the best situation and fit for me and my family. I am 100 percent confident with my final decision. I feel great about it and I’m excited to get started.”

Yeldon's statement

Over the last few weeks I've really put a lot of thought and time into where I will play football," Foster said at a press conference at his high school. "I want to make an announcement so I can put this behind me and get in all the work I need to do for high school and to get better for college both academically and athletically. I am going to enroll at Auburn University
I have a lot of respect for Alabama and the coaches and all of the other people and fans," Foster said. "At the end of the day, I feel Auburn University is the place for me and my family and I am 100 percent confident in my final decision. I feel great about my decision and I'm excited to get started

Foster's statement

Gone to jail like the rest of the AU commits. This one for plagiarism.

It doesn't sound like something CNS would say, but it does sound like something a fan would make up and it get spun around on message boards to hype up recruits/commits that the fan believes is going to Bama.

I kind of hope it was a move he did on his own..

I don't know why he would...he had no animosity. My guess was when he told the AU coaches that he was gonna flip, they offered to write a little speech for him.

If the AU coaches had him do that.......HOLY frick!

Giving Saban any more motivation than he already has is . 36-0 and 42-14 is going to seem like mercy after the abuse Bama lays on AU in November. I hope they run it up without mercy.

I don't care if Foster came up with reading Yeldon's statement on his own or if the Auburn Coaching Staff did it for him...

...I think it was absolute genius.

I'm a huge Bama homer, and I would have loved to have him, but that was classic.

Bucc for one said it several times and one or two others did as well. It really isn't that important for this to be a big discussion on it, or is it?

Doubt that. His dad posts on our boards and has been trying to tell people that Reuben was going to AU, but that OJ was all Bama.

Didn't Yeldon flip right before NSD thought? The 6 month difference is a long time comin

Why I see this being more of a Brent saga than a Yeldon one.

And after reading those comments...Auburn coaches were obviously still burned by the Yeldon flip lol
