You guys can call that "cheating" section whiny, if you want, but the situation is not stable as is- either the NCAA will have to prove capable of enforcing its rules or will have to relinquish any thought of an overarching body and just let anarchy reign. I am fine with either way, but not with the status quo. And frankly, the recruiting site guys probably have a better grasp on exactly how much underhanded stuff is occurring than just about anyone else even if not one of them is willing to give up his career to expose such.
I think with high school coaches looking to get a leg up on a career outside of high school, then most players just view them as another open mouth rather than a mentor. That is sad because what these kids need is someone shooting it to them straight. No wonder so many younger people simply fall apart when the world sends them their first big F U.

I agree.

This is probably true, but why bother mentioning it if you can't really go into any sort of detail?

For instance, “Finish the Drill” for a kid at Brookwood may mean getting drafted in the NFL, while the kid at Cedar Grove may view “Finishing the Drill” may mean getting into medical school.

Here's the elephant in the room... not addressed.
Win a National Championship.
Who is "stealing" Georgia's top recruits? Teams that have won a national championship in the last 5 years. Ole Miss is the exception, but they only got 1 recruit, for reasons discussed a million times on the board already.
Sure, UGA won the SEC 2x under Richt, but kids today who are 17 years old, they don't remember any of that. They don't care.

I'll drop some more enlightenment on you..
The assumption is that UGA recruiting sucks.
That's bullshite to begin with.
Even the author (sic) acknowledges that we take top tens from other states from California to New Jersey.
If we want to have our cake and eat it too, we need a national championship.
Fans care about SEC titles and SEC championships from 5 and 10 years ago.
Recruits don't. 10 years ago, a 2014 recruit was 7 years old. To those kids, David Pollack is just a coked up analyst on ESPN talking about how good Bama is.

Uh, no shite. Everybody knows that. Bottom line is that's a lot easier said than done.
This article is pointing out other factors at play.

in that case, everything in the article is implied.
