How big of a deal is it to the players how the previous season went before they commit to a school?

I mean you can have all the commits you want, but if you don't produce on the field that very year, most commits tend to jump ship. Of course there are a couple exceptions every year, see ole miss's class from last year.i

Go fvck yourself troll, you started this thread knowing exactly what you were doing. Don't try to word it in such a manner like your inviting enthusiastic non flaming conversation. You do this in every thread. If your gonna flame leave it on the rant.

And I'll tell you how I know it's a troll

Not a troll bro, just a observation. People get all excited about these recruits, knowing good and well after their team goes 4-8 they won't land half of them.

I'm guessing you are one of those guys.

Don't worry g, Tenn. Will be back one day,

Sorry to upset you. But I'm not trolling.

If trolling means keeping your hopes from getting too high on some of these recruits, then your mental health can thank me.

Are you implying Ole Miss landed it's class in spite of a lack of on the field production?

This actually isn't really the case. The only time this happens is when there is a coaching change because of a bad season. As long as the coaches that recruited them are still there, most recruits stick with that school.

Do you think ole miss's play on the field last year, was worthy of the class that was hauled in?

If recruits look at the previous year and effort, then see the difference in both production and effort, then I could easily see them saying "Hm, maybe these guys know something."

7-6 isn't an impressive season, but considering the previous season, it's just short of being a miracle.

AU won 3 games and had a Top 10 class.

This is simply not true. It has been proven time an time again that prospects don't put a huge emphasis on W/L. Some do, but most do not.

Of course it isn't. This is nothing more than the OP not being able to be content with bama's recruiting class so far, and the fact that AU has gotten a couple good recruits the last couple days chaps his meat curtains. Instead of just being content with what is going on in tuscaloosa, he feels the need to try and piss in someone else's cheerios because his beloved team isn't front and center 24/7.
