Honestly I am not sure. I don't remember us recruiting him to hard even before we got Zeus. I think we had other backs higher on our list.

I don't think UGA has ever been particularly involved with Pierce. White, Cook, Joiner, Teague, Pledger were/are big targets and some interest in Anthony Grant.

So glad we finally have some recruiters. Keep it up man. We can see the lack of blue chips on the roster this year and it will show on the field. You can't win the SEC without blue chips. Simple as that. This class finally looks like a Florida recruiting class again.

Good get. I always laughed when people said CJM couldn't recruit. Always felt like given time he would have UF back in the picture.

Can he though? There are some crazy stories out there about him poorly handling recruiting situations. It looks like he finally wised up and hired some legit recruiters instead.
