So you are saying Gus visited Evans today to negatively recruit...was that BEFORE or AFTER Saban's in home?

It is amazing that for the most part that when recruits talk about what the Bama coaches talk about it is about Alabama and what the players role will be on their team, and in most cases the other schools are not mentioned. But based on most accounts, other coaches who are recruiting against Alabama end up spending at least some of the time talking about why you should not go to Bama anyone care to explain why that is? The other schools have plenty to offer as well, why not just focus on the school they are recruiting for?

Evans was told shite about Bama by other recruits from multiple schools, not AU coaches. Keep up.

Okay, let's assume that AU doesn't negatively recruit. Where did Bessent get to know "what Alabama is really like"? He doesn't have any connections to Bama that I know of. He hadn't visited Bama since camp in the summer. Where did he get this information? I'm bringing up Bessent to say that if these tactics were used with him, what's to say that they aren't used with Evans?

McMillian is quoted as pointing out Clemson and Auburn as mainly negative recruiting in style, with every bit of it focused on Alabama.
