How does a guy who most believed this summer wouldn't even make it to college and would have to go the JUCO route suddenly become an early enrollee?

Its Mississippi, we know how to get people eligible. Just look at Jerrell Powe at Ole Miss. There are ways to get kids credits and cleared through HS.
Say he has a 2.75 GPA, he would only have to had made a 16 or 17 on the ACT, which isn't too hard to do.

yea hopefully there's no truth to it. I don't suppose there's any report out right now so you can't just assume it's true.

Of course you have to assume it isn't true until proven otherwise. This time of the year things will be made up about recruits by other teams left and right, so you can't just assume it's true. If anything really happened a report will come out about it
