Congrats - We visited him to guage his interest to see if there was a reason to pick up recruiting him and i'm pretty sure he said thanks but no thanks.. Good get Bulldogs.

Is Nick James expected to qualify? I know it is early but I always thought he was going to have problems.

Well I'll play devils advocate. State doesnt have much room left. Yet you are trying to get north pikes DT to come in on a visit after you offered him and then pulled him offer after James committed. So why else would you be trying to get him to come up to for a visit when you don't have room for him unless you have some grade casualties. Nick James and Nelson are your two with rumored "grade issues" and they happen to play that position. I mean I'd assume that too because it all adds up

Pretty sure they have 25 commits. They'll have to turn someone away if those actually DO qualify.
....also pretty sure MSU fans were the ones bitching the most about Nutt oversigning and having to turn kids away.

We have 22 towards the 25. Our 3 JUCO guys count back to last year.
We will sign 3 more for a total of 28 (25 HS 3 JUCO EE)

Per MSU's website, final Spring Registration is Jan. 6th. Deadline to add classes is Jan. 17th. Classes started the 9th
With this being a football player we're talking about, I'm leaning more towards the Jan. 17th deadline as being the one Quay has to beat.
