Unfortunately not a surprise from our end. It was well known Momma wasn’t all that enthusiastic about UGA and I’ve also heard comms had fallen off as staff worked on other players.

None of the big recruitments are really over until they sign, then they can still transfer whenever they want
A staff can build a relationship for years with a kid, then someone drops the proverbial or literal bag, and all of a sudden that relationship means nothing

It rarely is... Just like the Simmons commitment tomorrow. I don't think the battle is over between texas and LSU until he signs his LOI. There are some kids you just know that if nothing changes staff wise he's staying with his commitment, and some kids will always be on flip watch.
