Bama and LSU have been considered the favorites since he decommitted from Mizzou.

This. Mizzou is still just as much in the mix as anyone. Keeping Henson probably helped Mizzou's cause. I'm sure he'll visit and say the right things to everyone but in the end it's Mizzou, Bama and LSU.

The bottom line is that the kid has no idea where he will end up. He has no one school in the lead and anyone that tells you otherwise is posturing. Lots of time before signing day and lots of things can change between now and then.

He does like Bama a lot and he likes LSU a lot and will visit there, I'm sure of it. Mizzou is still just as much in the mix as the other two schools as well. Anyone outside of those 3 will have to do some impressing to change things up, which is entirely possible.

The naivety makes me feel bad about taking their recruits.

I might be naive but I don't think Ole Miss money will impress this family.

Ha, we just signed the number one Offensive lineman in the nation. You don't think we know what's up?

No, he's saying the kid is well off enough to where it won't matter what kind of money you want to throw at him.

He goes to the premier Jesuit high school in St Louis. I would say the premier Catholic school overall, but with cousins that went to SLUH, DeSmet, Nerinx, Villa, and Chaminade, I can't be partial.

Brumfield is ranked marginally ahead of Clapp on Rivals and 247. They're neck and neck.

Clapp will be a better player. Regardless of where Brumfield goes, Clapp is better.

you're right guys, we have no chance with him. If i've learned anything from this past recruiting class it's that we have no chance with any kids who have offers from LSU or Alabama. :(
