This guy got lost in the shuffle last week. He is presently a 3* on the 247 Composite, while 247 themselves has him as a 4*. Plays for notable HS powerhouse St. Thomas Aquinas and is the Gamecocks 2nd commit from this team for this cycle.

Don't troll on the recruiting board. And Pickens is not flipping from SC.

I would be triggered if UGA was ever an actual threat for Pickens.

Miami fans were extremely pissy about him committing to us over them. Richt has lost control of recruiting against South Carolina.

The guy has 20+ offers from a lot of big time programs. Those in the running before his commitment were indeed us and Miami but also Stanford.

The St. Thomas Aquinas in Broward County. Top 5 team last year I believe.

Are there multiple nationally-recognized NFL factories named St Thomas Aquinas?

There are a lot of St. Thomas Aquinas high schools that have top programs. Yes. He's a pretty popular dude when it comes to Catholic education.

Here's a link to his 247 profile since the OP did not include one.
