Gerry Hamilton, who has been at every practice, said he would put the line at two touchdowns. He said Alabama has a significant advantage at every position except RB & maybe DE.

About right IMO...
MS won't compete until we start placing elite QBs and much better OL in this game. We are going to be dominated on the LOS, outside of one DE and one DT. Alabama players are generally just so much further along in development.

Also you have to remember Alabama has a state population around 5 million and Mississippi a shade under 3 Millon. So they have more kids to choose from.

What does this excuse have to do with the sorely lacking player development in MS?
Texas has a population of 26 million while Louisiana only has 4.5 million, but that doesn't stop La from routinely beating them in the game.

Correct, obviously. There there is a trickle down effect to crappy weight programs, etc.

Small 1-3A schools don't have the money or resources to attract top notch coaches or money for top notch weight rooms.
However larger schools have great facilities and coaches. Look at places like Olive Branch, Madison Central, Meridian, Oak Grove, Petal, Biloxi, Ocean Springs, Gulfport. Etc.

Big difference between "top notch" and "good".

We upgraded after I left. My senior year we had the best record in 30 years at NA.
