UGA is also pursuing 4-star DE/DL LJ McCray - thought to be a UF lean. He’s not as good as Nwareni and is more raw but high upside guy. It’s not a new offer and UGA would take both and wants both.

Agree, but it still seems suspect on timing. Every school is always shakimg the bushes for players but if they only needed one then why offer another.
I mean...we are going for more than one. I am sure we have offers out for 7-10 more, and if they begin to commit to other teams more offers will probably go out.
That said, you might be right. I am not saying anybody is right or wrong. I am saying there are a lot of reasons why offers go out at this stage. I KNOW Georgia sent a couple out recently. (I can't think of the position)
I mean, we have 3-4 teams who seems to think they are going to land the big guy. We'll know shortly. Either way he goes the sun will still come up and our favorite team will field a team.

another thing that most of us forget - even when these kids commit in the summer - they cannot sign for another 4 1/2 months. These teams that lose out aren’t going to quit recruiting them - especially the top guys. With NIL, a team/collective could make a stupid offer with a large bag that flips the commitment. It will happen on some top prospects.
In December it will be Merry Flipmas!

However, comments like yours and MOJO Eraser should have the rest of the SEC down for a UGA commitment. The melts here will be epic. Either that or you guys will disappear from the board.
And if he doesn't commit to us?
Any information we get, no matter how good it is perceived to be should not be presented as, "This is how it is going to be." The insider on the other board will be the first to tell us this. Recruiting shifts and changes, and information we get today may not be correct tomorrow.
Some of our fans have already gotten egg on their face with the commit of Phillips to Auburn. To repeat it is just not smart.
Share what we hear, but not presented as "We are right, and you are wrong! You'll see and the melt will be epic!"
That is arrogant and can backfire in a second.

Latest intel from our insiders say it will be Mizzou. They offered a rumored $500K NIL package during his midweek visit that turned his head, plus to be fair, Mizzou has done a good job developing DL.
Gonna hate to play against him and UGA absolutely could have used him, but I’m not begrudging any kid that wants to play at home near family.

Thanks for the intel Floyd. However as OU guy pointed out, Mizzou offered a JuCo DL so it’s impossible that Nwaneri will commit to MU. Schools can’t offer multiple recruits at the same position as he flawlessly pointed out

I don’t know what I have said that would make me leave a board lol ….. I have said any team could get him but Missouri fans thinking they are for sure going to get him at this point just doesn’t align with what the recruiting experts are saying . You just have to look at the visits … which place has he been the most to usually …. USUALLY the place the player commits. I have said every school has a chance ….

The overwhelming majority of Mizzou fans think it's about a coin-flip between OU and Mizzou, which is essentially what we are hearing from most insiders. I can probably count on one hand the amount of Mizzou fans I have seen who think we definitely get him.

Our UGA insider, who thought UGA was in it deep, said this morning this kid is going to Mizzou.
I am giving up the dream that Nwareni will be a Dawg. Unless OU is going in with a 7 figure offer on NIL - then Sooners better give up the dream as well.

Georgia hasn't been in it for a while now. Apparently some of Georgia's coaches tried to neg-recruit against Mizzou and he and his family didn't like that. Wrong move...

BS….UGA doesn’t have to neg recruit any other team. They have plenty to sell.

Arrogance causes coaches to neg recruit no matter how much they have to sell all the time. UGA made an arrogant mistake and is no longer in the picture. You don't try to blow smoke up Nigerian parent's asses, ever. Doesn't matter to me whether you believe that or not. It is so.
It's an OU/MO battle down to the final minute. Whether you believe that or not doesn't make a bit of difference to me either. It is so.

OU has a 7 figure offer for both nwaneri and stone actually. 1.1m for nwaneri and they are close to 1.5 for stone. Oregon and Mich state put up 7 figure offers for Stone. The oil money is officially flowing, prepare for disappointment poors.

Curious, because you seem very sure....where did you hear this from?

since you are making an accusation - put it out there/own it. What was the negative recruiting comments by UGA? who said it and what did they say?

You missed the first half of the thread where most people here admitted they just believe recruiting sites without question.
Ask for sources on all recruiting news like this and you'll see
There aren't any sources.
