Lafayette County school is not pro-Ole Miss.

Stan Hill played at Tupelo and went to Marshall and played QB there. Chad Hill went to Oxford and played baseball at Ole Miss.

He's honestly too fricking stupid to read. It's amazing that he knows how to post on a message board...

Absolute B.S. That coach fricked up somewhere, somehow, if he kept genuinely interested schools from going after the player even after he committed. If a school wants the guy, they're not going to let a verbal keep them from trying. So his coach is B.S.ing big-time. Either no decent BCS-level team is recruiting him and this is all sour grapes because the kid has no other worthwhile offers besides Mississippi State, or the coach gave the kid bad advice about shutting down pitches from other schools. Either way, the only people to screw up here are the player and his coach.

Mullen has publicly stated numerous times that if a player is committed, than he shall no longer communicate with other schools. Coach Hill was simply following what he was told to do.

That can be Mullen's policy -- as it can be any coach's policy (Hoke has something similar, I believe) -- but that doesn't affect what other schools do.
It's a moot point anyway. There's still 2 months until NSD, and even then, NSD is only the first day kids can sign, not the entire signing period. If anyone else wants the kid...that is, if he's actually good enough to rate interest from a decent school...there's plenty of time for him to latch on somewhere else.

David Cutcliffe son is on the staff as well. Does that make him pro Tenn, Ole Miss, and Duke??? How does that work?

You're really making yourself look stupid, bro.

Yeah, it kind of sucks. But so does a long time 'commit' calling you up late in the process and saying 'by the way, I've decided to go elsewhere.'
But the college coaches won't tell the HS coach, 'since your kid doesn't honor his commitments, we're not going to offer anyone from your school any more.'

If it's one school where I this hurts us least, it's Oxford.
This coach is an idiot for calling Mullen out. We aren't going go get a good player there that both State & OM want. So he is only hurting his players.

Will Mullen change his policy that the recruit must refuse to take any recruiting trip to another school?
