I'm not sure that's his father. The UGA Lindsay Scott spells his name differently. Hence my Username.
Ah, ok. I thought I saw where Rusty mentioned that it was his father. Sorry for the error.

Not sure if you really believe some of that stuff or if you're just trying to make yourself feel better about your staffs failure to recruit the QB position this year. I doubt Scott sees any significant PT at the QB position during his career at LSU. But hey, who knows.
Don't sell the kid short. No one expected Blake Sims to ever get to be a starting QB at Alabama. Lindsey Scott could be LSU's Blake Sims.

You say Lindsey Scott but I have to disagree. This is only if we land him but I say Sci Martin. Kid had over 30 sacks his senior season and is only a 3 star. Ridiculousness.

It is ridiculous to me how Joseph and Perine are 3 star players on the composite.

Blake Sims wasn't Bama's 7th and final option though. Basically Cam saw Scott, and liked a number of other QBs way better. LSU should have pushed for Pellerin last year if they want to continue down the dual threat route

yeah the recruiting rankings can work at times but then there are big misses. Patrick Dimarco, FB for the Falcons, was one for us... from 2 star TE out of HS to Pro-Bowl FB in the NFL.

7th option is stretching a bit. Respect lost.

I'm positive that's not his father.

For UGA, Tyler Simmons. He was the best player on his team that features a team full of D1 players. When he committed to Bama, I was bummed. Built like a RB, he would be the prototypical WR if he were 2 inches taller. He is going to annoy a lot of SEC fans with his production.
