All of our recruiting insider guys always say that Brent Venables (DC who just went to Clemson) constantly makes shite up about us being an extremely racist school and stuff like that. They play hardball with the negative recruiting and always have.

It made Mack Brown look like a saint. I've always heard he is a class act, but if that article is true, I'm impressed a program like Texas could have such a well-intentioned HC.

I pull for the home state team though, so watched the Cards in the playoffs and they def earned my respect. I don't mind Cards talk, but I must have OCD as I spent far too much time reading every single page on this thread.
Our first SEC class went better than it appeared a few months ago. UGA' class seems pretty sick though. We certainly have a long ways to go.

I agree it's odd - and it's different than other stuff I've read today. Plus it seems directly opposite of all I've heard about the Beckhams that they'd be that frank about the recruiting process. I've taken pretty much everything I've read about his recruitment, all the rumors and articles, with a grain of salt.
