your qb has 200 some odd carries this year up >100 from last year is that a player decision or play call decision? it skewed the usual pass heaviness of your team stats over the last 5 years

People (mainly Texas) are talking about Wilson only being here for his freshman year.

How many times did we hear how bad our passing game would hurt without Mallett? Arkansas has led the SEC in passing offense from '08-through this year. Petrinos first year we were 2nd in passing O and we will lead the SEC again this year in passing O. QB isn't a position to worry about for us. Brandon Allen also our true freshman QB and our back up Brandon could have started for a few teams this year....

Is Franklin more of a Runner than Chase or Blaine?: Yes

But he didnt have a target like DGB. We had really good 2's and 3's. So we relied more on the run.

Wednesday should be interesting.

In my opinion I feel it's 50/50 with Ark and Mizz for DGB.

I actually thought Tyler Wilson would be very good for you. I had somewhat known about him a little. But I saw him come in for Mallet when he got hurt in the game against Auburn and threw for 4 TDs. I was pretty impressed. If he wasnt playing against Cam Newton, Arky probably would have won that one.

With that being said I would think having the same Veteran QB for two years is better than 1. Not the end all factor but one none the less.

Doesn't matter what offense he is in, he will make plays. The thing that gets overlooked here is his relationship with the players and coaches.

That is true. It's just where he feels the most comfortable.

A veteran QB for his freshamn & sophmore years... and an untested QB for his junior year?? (i.e. the year immediately prior to becoming draft eligible?)

UA has QB talent in reserve. I think mizzou is a tough sell...

1. Hillcrest' principle and DGBs track coach are Arkansas Fans.

2. why risk putting yourself in a position to be the only saving grace of a team entering a new - and notoriously - hard conference?

3. During this transition... There is more 'predictibility' in Arkansas than Mizzou.

4. DGB mizzou visit may HELP arkansas secure the LOI ~

5. DGB sat expressionless during the whole game? and left early? I remember him calling the hogs.

Getting "checked in" is when you are new in prison and get beat down as a way of saying "welcome". Your fellow arky mates are inviting you to the Off Topic lounge, where newbs are encouraged to post early and often.

Now kindly frick off the Mizzou recruiting news thread.

We are tied with Baylor in the conference and the broadcasts show us as third even though we beat them.

What gives?
