i dont think he could have 5star talent starting out as 3 star or below.
Its probably because other schools are trying to make a run on him.

My bad, I apologize. I didnt read the whole thread, but I know that Yancy is throwing around a lie that OM wasnt interested in Chris Jones supposedly because of grades which isn't true.
One thing I dont get about Yancy is that he never accepts that Ole Miss lost a recruit to Mississippi State and he has to spin it in some way. Like last year with Quay Evans and before with other players. He will say some BS like Ole Miss pulled their offer, there wasnt enough room, or there are grades/character issues.

I've never seen him say anything about grades with Jones. All I've ever seen him say is that state did a great job of getting him sewn up early and we didn't have a shot.

Hamilton just said on h2h that they aren't through moving Chris Jones up... said he sees him as ultimately a top 5 overall prospect in the class, but will wait till the UA game to make any decisions in that regard...
