I know. For instance today my wife is driving through town and a young man walks up to her car at a stop sign and says hey baby can we talk, she shows him her wedding ring and he whips out a wad of cash and tries to pursuade her to talk. People are so nice they offer you money just to talk with them.

While I agree, I would not live in the city limits(or un-anexed Shelby County). But I would most certainly live out in Germantown or Collierville.

I live in Memphis and all my neighbors are really nice... I take my daughter for strolls through Chickasaw Gardens almost every day... When we first moved into our neighborhood the guy that lives next door mowed our lawn for us and cooked us dinner to welcome us to the neighborhood... This city isn't so bad.

I haven't been back except for flying through in 13 years, but I thought I heard that Germantown was talking about creating their own school system. But yea, combining the great county schools, and poor city schools is a horrible idea. Wasn't it a vote taken of the city and county, meaning the county had no shot to keep good schools

I am hoping they let the suburbs schools get away from the Memphis school district. MSD couldn't make money on a whorehouse filled with the best looking women ever imagined.

Ok last I heard the ruling was unconstitutional and we couldn't do anything but Nashville is gonna put a law in where we can....so it could possibly happen like collierville and germantown have the money too and all it's just that MCS is doing everything in it's power to combine them
