Unless this kid is the missing piece to a championship or something, he's not worth the time or the scholarship. He'll come in, give you half-assed effort for one season and then he's off to the NBA.
Seems like the type of kid that would get you in trouble down the line when it comes out that "surprisingly" he was talking to agents while he was in college.

Malik is all about Malik. His #1 priority is himself.
Not saying I wouldn't want him on my team, because Moody and Malik would be deadly, but I feel like you're right about him talking to agents.

I think you're right. What's sad is I think his dad has made him that way. Definitely see his dad as the type to shop him around and consider him his ticket out of Jackson, MS. Hope like hell we land him though.

He'll go to Starkville, take 30 shots a game, then leave and it will be like he was never there. When he started showing his true intentions it was obvious he wasnt coming and I lost interest. Wish the kid wanted a Championship.

This is exactly why the one and done needs to go. Malik has no business going to college neither does Jaylen Brown. If you are good enough then you should be able to go. If not then you should have to stay for a minimum of 2 years. CBB being this far down is an embarrassment. We shouldnt have to put up with this.

It's not your fault, some people are just raised to be ignorant in all factions of society.

The original Malik Newman thread is going to be one of the biggest shite-shows in TD history after Friday regardless of who he signs, but looking through the old posts, LSU fans are going to be full from crow for weeks.

Why would we be that way? I am fine not getting Malik Newman I would rather Georgios Papagiannis or Kosango because of they're size we have enough guards. I don't believe Malik is a true point guard so he should go to MSU.

Well that was at a time when there was a strong possibility we would sign him. Since then things have changed and it's understood that he's not coming especially since Sampson just committed. The writing on the wall. I'm not going to come out and say all MSU posters are ignorant because I don't like defining a whole fan base via the boards but this is the second time in 15 minutes I've had to call out ignorance from a State poster in this thread.

Did I mention anyone in this thread having to eat crow? I said in the original MN thread which I don't even remember you posting in. If you would go look, there was plenty of "LULZ at MSU thinking they have a shot with Malik" and "why would he go play for a NIT in Starkville when he can compete for a natty with us" from ignorant LSU fans.
