Is there something wrong with him? He was a 4* recruit out of HS.

Why does something have to be wrong with him? They’re going to have transfers into the spring and summer with a new staff.

Was your thread about Notre Dame and LSU recruits not enough?
Josh white has talent, but never was able to get on the field. He got passed up, and LSU just brought in the best 5 Star LB in the country.
The only 5 star impactful player LSU lost was Ricks.
Everyone else was told to look elsewhere more or not getting the play time.
Earlier this year there was a huge wave of LSU football players and LSU fans didn't like it one bit! Now where was I wrong about it? Now there is another one. Just keep on piling up. Don't blame me if this year would be not a good year due to of lack of depth! I say it is all on your HC for not getting to hold on like some other first year HC was able to do it. Auburn is in the same situation with LSU.

The only players that left LSU for the portal anyone really cared about was Eli Ricks and Dwight McGlothern. Everyone else either didnt play much (like Josh White, Devonta Lee, Alex Adams, Landon Jackson, Bugg Strong, Koy Moore, Eric Taylor) or is pretty easily replaceable (Max Johnson, Trey Palmer, Deion Smith). There wasn't ever some mass exodus of good players or anything from here, literally 2 guys anyone really cared about.
We only lost 3 starters to the portal and only 2 of them LSU fans were upset about (Ricks and McGlothern).

We are going to be at like 83-84 scholarship players come fall, we dont have any depth problem. We've currently got 14 guys from the portal on their way in (or here) and will end up with 16-17, most of which will either be starters right away and the rest being depth adds. We lost 12 to the portal and have already added 14 from it.

There’s pretty much only two linebacker spots available in a 4-2-5 defense and you really only get to the two deep so realistically there’s four spots at play. White got hurt and it ruined his development and has now been passed up by two incoming freshmen in Harold Perkins and Demario Tolan

I'm not piling on to LSU but CJ Hicks? They were rated even in the Composite. So, I would think he was at least close and possibly better.
Don't misunderstand.....Perkins was a great commit and I wish we could have gotten him.

That's fair man. But didn't CJ sign with Ohio State?

However, Perkins was easily the best LB prospect signed in the SEC.

What?! We played our last game of the year with 39 scholarship players. We’ll start next season with more than double that. The blame of the transfers falls on the last coach and his culture not the new one. The new one is building the roster back very effectively.

Ok fair you got me.
No other LB close to Perkins in this conference.
