What are you guys hearing on him? I thought he was a lock to LSU but Steve Wiltfong put in a CB to Arkansas this morning. Are you guys backing off or does Steve just have bad info?

We only have one receive committed to us right now. Him and devonta Smith are our two priorities.
He visited last weekend (?) and had a solid trip. Our guys like our chances but we will see.

That's what I thought and I fully expect him to end up at LSU personally. I was just surprised about the Wiltfong pick this close to JUCO signing day. He didn't elaborate on why he made the pick so I'm not going to put much stock in to it.

Lsu has been hot and cold with him. I'm not trying to be "that guy" but what I understand if lsu wants him they will get him. Lsu is after devonte smith and racey mcmath they may not want to go juco out of fear of running one of them off. Lsu also has a ton of highly rated WRs most are sophomores or so wr is not a huge need in this class. Most have thought we take 3 max and possibly 4 for a special one. In my opinion Lsu must feel real good about smith,

Would be surprised if AU is still seriously involved. WR was not a position of need and it seems his spot was filled by Ingohebe.

He doesn't have a commitable offer from LSU as of today so that's why they're not in his top 3.
If they tell him they want him, before signing day on Wednesday, that's where he'll go. Our hope is that that doesn't happen.

If, and this is a BIG if, we get a good vibe from Smith, I don't see us offering. We have a stacked roster of young WR's. Just watch the Texas A&M game to see Anderson and Gage. Drake Davis and Sullivan are also true freshmen. It's been embarrassing to churn out 5 star WR's with below average to pathetic QB play. I hope O can right this ship without the defense taking a hit.

Auburn has a hs we commited and apparently a few more are looking really good with Stidham signing. I doubt we take more than 2 since we have 5 good to really good freshmen on campus right now, and I think we will take a hs kid over Martin. I think our staff still loves Martin, just don't necessarily have to have a plug and play guy right now after what we saw this year.

4 of our top 5 WRs are seniors so we could definitely use him. Would be nice to pair him with Cornelius next year.

the fact that we dont have an OC prob hurts us. He was an original LSU signee but didnt make it had to go JUCO
