I said a couple weeks ago that his recruitment has been odd. I've had the feeling he wasn't coming here given how seemingly standoffish he's been even after having his brother on campus.

Just sounds like he didn't want to play with Franks. That's understandable too. QB is a position where you want healthy competition, but not another 5* beside you. One of them would probably have transferred too.

I'm concerned that Franks won't ever get to LSU; that's what would make losing Patterson sting.

I'm afraid if Franks does go to the Majors, that Les and O will go all out for Shea. Maybe not. But there's also the Dwayne kid from Maryland right? If he commits to LSU.

Doubt we get either of those two regardless of what Franks does
Patterson doesn't appear to be enamored with LSU like many LA kids, & Maryland is a hike + LSU hasn't been a QB haven recently.

Good lord, how many times do you Ole Miss fans need to be told Shea has said it himself MANY times he is only going where his brother is at.
It's the only reason he committed to Arizona and the decommitted when his brother left for LSU. He knew his brother wasn't staying long at LSU and no doubt Ole Miss has been interested in getting his brother so Shea would come to Ole Miss, NOW you finally got him. Better keep his brother through Feb. of next year or else Shea will look somewhere else. He's helping his brother get better jobs along the way.

Shea is on the backburner now with Sean to Ole Miss. We all know what's the story here and we're not playing it. Sean was never going to be more than a GA at LSU, from all accounts he doesnt know how to coach.
