Why? Because we say a kid might want to stay home and play at poor little ol'MSU instead of big.bad LSU?

Y'all think LSU fans are incapable of having inside sources at MSU and you are sadly mistaken. Mine are probably better than 90% of the bullshite posters so far

Stay home? BR is closer to Brookhaven than Starkville by an hour.

I think what posters mean by "staying home" is wanting to represent the home state, but that's just the way I read it.

You would be correct.

I grew up in McComb. LSU was only closer in miles. By any other measure, Starkville and Oxford are closer.

I've already posted this but I think it needs to be said again. It is especially shitty that these million dollar coaches ask these kids to be shitty people in an attempt to poke another program. Pretty disgusting actually.

I don't think it was our coaches, Mullen doesn't get that cute in recruiting. If it was planned, it was he and Farrod's plan all along. The only benefit our guys had was Farrod telling them the whole way that he would flip in the end.

There was also the rumor that he got cash to commit to Ole Miss with no obligation of following through on signing day. I assumed it was bullshite but the way it has played out makes me wonder.

He's saying that LSU is closer in miles, but Brookhaven as a city is much more similar to Starkville or Oxford than being in a big city like Baton Rouge. Jesus, I feel like a damn interpreter for idiotic LSU fans. Deductive reasoning isn't a quality that resonates in Baton Rouge it seems.

They seem to be lacking in that quality.

Interpret away. It doesn't make the original statement any less stupid.

I don't know, after the all night telephone marathon by Freeze last year the night before signing day to get Tee Shephard to flip I think Freeze really pissed in Mullen's Corn Flakes. At this point I can totally see Mullen being more than good with Lewis draggin' OM along in the recruiting process knowing he was going to MSU the whole time. Guess we will see on Wednesday.
