Also what many have failed to see is we have something to offer that others don't.
Legendary Status - As many of you have stated we don't have the recent history that the likes of Bama, UGA, AU, UF, UT & LSU have but because of this we have something else. If these top kids come to us and start something that has never been seen here in any recent time, those kids automatically go down as Ole Miss legends. And to go somewhere and be more than what was is kinda a big deal.
Those other schools I've mentioned they're factories and these kids are just another cog in the wheel, but to us they might as well be Greek heroes of old
. I am not saying that we will get all these guys but I am saying we have selling points too. And I also warn you to not take us for granted ... a great many generals of the past have taken armies for granted because the are who they are and then have lost for doing so. I don;t claim we will win this war but we could win one or more battle in the meantime before the war is won.

I mean look at it like this. Uga and Bama have been on him for 2+ years, maybe more. He's had those 2 as his leaders for a LONG time. Ole Miss comes in late, gets him on campus once and suddenly he's a lock to ole miss? Nothing about that is weird to you? Especially when it was a foregone conclusion to just about everyone that he was coming to UGA. I know it's hard to think that about your own program but be logical.

Jarran Reed has been committed to us for a while and now it looks like he's headed to Alabama. Has one OM fan accused them of cheating? Tony Conner could also easily end up there.

Dude what part cant you understand about Freeze has been recruiting him since he got to Ole Miss..
Just go back and look at some old articles where he talks about favorites. Ole Miss was always in the picture. Most just didnt think we had a shot.
He still might go to UGA. But its not as much of a foregone conculsion as some would like to think.

What part do you not understand that we've been recruiting him harder for longer? He's made one trip to your campus. He's been to Athens and Tuscaloosa multiple times.

I'll attempt to be level headed. I see where you are coming from, but in retrospect, OM has been recruiting Tony Conner since the 8th grade. Think about that for a minute.
Secondly, Freeze has pounded two things into Tunsil's head:
-Michael Oher
-can practice opposite of RN every day for three years and be a first rounder after his junior year.

We're currently top 3 in regards to putting kids in the league. Not a better selling point other than getting to go up against Nkemdiche.

Both teams have selling points. You being on LT for 2 years opposed to our 1 year is not a big factor. Freeze and Richt have had plenty of time to get their pitch across. Let the kid decide.
