I'm not sure Alabama will need to leave the state for LBs in 2016.

I'm not sure Alabama will get all the elite in-state lbs with AUs current staff. It will be interesting.

Depends how fast relationships are made honestly. Hires help immediately short term and then long term, but that time in between measures their worth in salt.

Should be fun...

Yeah, I'm hoping it's enough to attract some of the talent at LB. Bama has had their choice almost uncontested. I mean shite, a kid gets an AU tat and still flips to Bama.

Eta: but I'm not too upset about that. Evans hurts, especially with Muschamp here now.

I'm gonna be upset if at least 1 of 2 of those guys don't get on the field a lot for Bama in 2015

Auburn should do well, Thompson is a great recruiter and can pitch the impact of Boom to players.

Great hire for Auburn. Definitely a better recruiter than a coach, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. Auburn isn't recruiting anywhere near their potential, and that is a scary thought for bama fans. Meanwhile Alabama already has studs on campus. I'm hoping this time we hire a better tactician to coach them up.

Win win on both sides IMO.
