I said UGA is better at developing defensive talent than AU’s current staff.

They are just clearly the best at developing guys, it’s definitely not about recruiting as good or better than anyone and playing a glorified ACC schedule most years in the East. I’m not sure any other school has ever produced a draft pick

Those guys have never coached before? They’ve never been anywhere else to develop talent? It ain’t that hard to figure out.

I think 25 players drafted in last 2 drafts and 8 in first round.....Yeah I will go out on the limb and say they develop better than AU's current staff will do.

Welcome to recruiting at an elite level, if you aren’t producing a ton of draft picks most years you’re doing something wrong

Answer your own question. He's a Bama fan.

so saban has had the same staff his entire tenure at bama?

maybe it has a lot to do with getting the top kids out of HS just as much as anything?

I just call out stupidity and it’s usually your fanbase spewing it. Really Unfortunate for such a likable school, city, and program.

I mean, if he wants to start right away for a decent team, the semenholes were the obvious choice. Still a lot of time between now and December for Raiola to help him consider all his options

Getting high level talent is part of it but UGA develops 3 stars as well. You’re acting like all you have to do is sign them and that’s it.

every player has to be coached up. Acting like UGA is winning with a bunch of 3* because they are "coached up" is absurd. When was the last time you finished outside the top 4 in recruiting?

What I am saying is what everybody knows except for apparently a few.......recruiting is the lifeblood of a program. If you don't recruit well, you don't have a shot. If you have one of the most talented rosters in the nation, your chance for success is great.

I think people don’t always realize that as fun a town as Athens is, it is not the experience that everyone wants. Tallahassee can offer other things and one shouldn’t underestimate what having another school in town can add.
