Actually the consistent thing he has said was he was surprised by the environment at A&M and he seems excited about being a part of potentially the #1 Class. Is he getting some NIL? Probably, but my guess is he will get that wherever he goes.

Has he said that somewhere? Not that I'm doubting, I've followed his recruitment but not super close.
The environment I could get or just personal relationships he has built with whoever is recruiting him at A&M I can see being a factor.
I'm not sure how much NIL plays into it but I don't know why he'd care about how high a class was ranked and why that might sway him.

We literally haven't had anyone in an A&M uniform from within 100 miles of where he's from since...I don't recall there ever being one.

I think Nolen has a lot to do with this. Nolen also is saying that Clemson Decommit Jihaad Campbell is coming to CS this weekend and he thinks he signs next week. He's listed as an Edge but apparently we are looking at him as an LB.
I really wish you could take a pill for your Battered Aggie Syndrome dude. I guess I just remember growing up in the Jackie/RC era and never felt like A&M needed to take a backseat to anyone. We sure as hell didn't back then. Now we are immensely richer and better positioned than we could dream of back then.

250 gets you the majority of Tennessee and as far west as St. Louis.

Kid is unbelievably talented but he’s hard to follow. Been to 3 different high schools in the last 4 years. No sense in trying to read his mind. Idk why he committed to Kentucky if he was still wanting to take these visits and make a final decision afterwards. Should’ve just stayed uncommitted until he knew
