Trigg will be a Gamecock.

Let the downvotes begin but them's the facts.

It looks like it's just 4 guys with medium confidence.

Yeah, but one of them is Wilfong. That's a pretty good sign.

I know that Wiltfong is historically pretty reliable, but it's still only medium confidence. It's seems like he would have put in a 7 or 8 if he had a real reason to believe this was closed to a done deal don't you think?

Gotcha. I just thought you had a recent article from an interview or something. I don't expect Trigg in the class but just saying oh a handful of CB's doesn't mean that much.

Gotta love this board. You get downvoted for asking for more details.

I don't know his tendencies with it but he doesn't usually make a pick unless he's sure. I guess you'd have to look at his other picks to know better.

The confidence meter is new, so we don't really have a reference for that yet. It just seems like he would have higher than a 6 confidence if he had something significant to base his prediction on.

On the other hand. If he was somewhat confident in the pick then why even make it or give it a lower confidence rating

That's why I figure this is more of a gut feeling rather than him knowing something concrete.

I just don't see him going on a "gut feeling" though. He seems to have inside information in most cases.

I guess we’ll see over time. In the meantime, I’m going to assume that the confidence meter means something and that medium confidence is basically like a prospect has narrowed things down to 2-3 programs but has not made a final decision yet.

I really like the confidence level thing.

A 5-6 from Wiltfong is like a 10 from the others across the board. I won't think Trigg is anything other than a Gamecock until Wiltfong flips his CB elsewhere.
