The head coach at Carrollton is the same guy that coached Trevor Lawrence. This kid is the real thing

Yeah, we have to pull all the stops to make this kid stay home.

Smart , Monken and another uga coach have been to one of his games. I read that he grew up an Alabama fan and Saban has been over, plus Carrollton is like 14 miles from Alabama. But every major college in the nation will be after this kid. 23 tds and 4 interceptions in 6 games his freshman season. He might throw 200 tds in his 4 years. He’s a smart kid too. I guess it’s possible he could finish a year ahead.
Eta this is his first year in Carrollton. He didn’t hrow up here. I read that they came specifically because of the head coach who was hired last year, and as noted, who coached Trevor Lawrence

Kid lives in Fulton County and drives to Carrollton daily. I can’t say I blame him though. He is supposed to be on the level of Lawrence and Fields if he continues to progress.

A good article

An excerpt…
Already a projected headliner in the 2026 cycle, the 6-foot-1, 165-pound prospect (175 now according to update reports) knows these offers have little to no guarantee at this point. While Florida’s scholarship still stands even with a new coaching staff in place, the coaching carousel could turn on its head multiple times before Ju Ju is able to sign anywhere. He knows if he doesn’t progress likes these schools envision, the interest that surrounds him will fade away.
“He knows how far he has to go,” T.C. said. “I think that’s one of the things that makes him special as a player.”
There’s the $500-$600 monthly investment T.C. spends on trainers who help hone Ju Ju’s skills. He started getting formal training when he was 8. He’s won Georgia’s state-wide player of the year award for his age group every year since he was 10. He’s traveled across the country to camps and showcases. This year, he took home an eighth-grade national player of the year award. He quarterbacked Carrollton’s ninth-grade team.
Edit: that’s an article from February. As noted in another post he’s the starting qb at Carrollton and leads the state in some qb stats

This is his 2nd year at Carrollton. I've never seen anyone poised as he is. Incredible for a guy that just turned 15. Never panics, can go through his progressions, and can make any throw. Carrollton had another kid that was in the same grade as him that is already being recruited as well that actually stayed back a year and transferred to the cross town rival.

Harsin will be a distant memory and our next coach will be fired too in time for his senior year!

The kid was "recruited" to Pace Academy (as a incoming 7th grader) from the Carrollton area. Sark (still at Alabama at the time) was already watching and working on him as a 7th grader. He moved back to Carrollton after 7th because of the new varsity head coach.
I have not heard any significant discussion about him since BoB came in at Alabama but you can bet Sark is still in contact. My youngest was a year ahead of JuJu at Pace. The kid is the real deal.
