we had carr, carmon, rob johnson, and damien robinson.

Carmon=Dorsey push
Mackey= i guess this a win OM
Carr=Sanders push
Robinson=Thompson push
Daminen Jackson= who gives a shite
Delvin Jones= gone
Martin= OM
Thats why I said the classes were close, but only because of juco's not living up to the hypeand delvin leaving. Not because you beat us in battles for in-state players

Grouping player development with recruiting and calling it all the same is nothing short of retarded so that doesn't surprise me Coonass is spouting that shite.
You develop players all the way up through their Senior seasons and in most cases shortly after to help prepare for the combine, pro days, etc.
There is absolutely no logical way you can convince me something that happens 4 years after he signed can be attributed to "recruiting".
Recruiting and Player development are two seperate entities and Mullen is sub-par at one and, with the help of Bail...erp...Balis, very good at the other. I will give you that the two do need to coexist during the first year or so.
Put it this way....We all agree that Bumphis was a great sign by Mullens. But look at his numbers this year. Someone only looking at stats will say that he obviously regressed. If player development(which it's main measurable output is statistics) is listed solely under recruiting, then Bumphis should be considered a recruiting failure based on this past season.

Bumphis is the same player that he was last year. Problem is, guys like Arceto Clark and Chris Smith got a lot better.

Once again what is this discussion about? I thought it was players we both were recruiting. I didn't include three star players but if you want to include Ballard I'll throw in the lot of them. Head to head high profile battles is what I was comparing

Thats why you don't judge a player on their freshman season. Look at Ja mes Logan, Joel Kight, Jesse grandy, Carlos Thompson, etc. I think state fans will see PJ and Eulls aren't as good as they believe. They get a free pass because they are freshmen, but I expect them both to have a Bumphis like career. Hot new freshman, but never gets better. Not flaming just an opinion that of course can be argued

Just curious on what makes you think this.

I figure he means they'll both have decent careers but will prove to be grossly overrated compared to how guys like Bundy and coonass talk about them.
Not trying to take anything away from them though.

Bumphis hasnt even had a mediocre career yet. He flat out sucks. He is one of the biggest let downs I can remember as of late. Wayyy to early to tell about on the other guys.
Hell Eulls was All Sec Fresh team.

Recruiting is getting players to come to your school over others. By that definition Nutt beat Mullen.
Then by all means I hope freese "beats" mullen seeing how the outcome of winning the recruiting has turned out

We will know something today at the earliest and tomorrow at the latest.
Word is Bo wants to go to OM but his parents want him to go to State. We shall see. Stay tuned.

we have better players than Mississippi does at every position on the football field- that how I say Mullen outrecruited Nutts.
I disagree. I think we've got the edge at WR, LB, and special teams. You're better on the lines and in the secondary. It's tough to tell at QB.

You think recruiting stops when the paper is faxed in.
By definition it does. You can't just redefine "recruiting" to fit your argument.

I think attrition and development are part of recruiting.
Well you're wrong.
