I'll start a new one when Malone commits to VOLS. Hopefully Nicolae stays out of that one.

With Thanksgiving in the books the Tennessee coaches skipped Black Friday shopping, choosing to fly the entire offensive staff on a private jet the airport in Gallatin and then take a police escort to the Malone residence for an in-home visit. Also on the visit are Butch Jones and Tommy Thigpen. As I've said, Malone is still undecided and the Tennessee coaches are turning up the heat in an effort to get Malone on board before he announces his decision on Wednesday.

If he's essentially a lock to UT like most people think why are they putting out so much effort?

Check out our other WR commit Lavon Pearson's highlights.

Should be fun to watch with adequate QB play.

Personally I don't think he is a lock.

If I had to bet on it I would take Tennessee but I think he is legitimately undecided. I could be wrong.

Yeah, he's played everything close to his vest. Cudos to him for not playing the game that so many others have.

North and our Top WR commit Lavon Pearson are going to be really nasty.
We all want Malone because he's instate but regardless if he commits or not Pearson will be the best WR we take IMO

It's painfully obvious that we need Malone too tho. Just look at the Vandy game, for example, as soon as North went out our gameplan was beyond fricked. Pearson will be a beast but we still need more than two legit SEC WR.

Not sure why you don't, everything has been positive for UT for a month or longer now. Clemson and UGA keep seeming to jump in and out.

On a side note, it really is pathetic that our WR coach couldn't close this one. Longest/closest relationship with the family by far, best actual WR coach of the bunch, can point to a WR in the NFL worlds beyond anyone that the UT and CU staffs can. Just a really, really poor job recruiting by Ball to miss on Malone.

I didn't imply anything. A lot of coaches have had many highly rated QBs that never did jack shite in the NFL or make the NFL period, just look at Mark Richt for example.

Yes, yes you did. That sterling Tennessee reading comprehension again...wtf do they teach anything other than butt-chugging up there?

How else is "well, he didn't produce NFL guys because 5* don't go to CM and Cincy" supposed to be taken?

That's cute

UT:
Justin Hunter
Robert Meachem
Denarius Moore
Cordarelle Patterson
Da'Rick Rogers

WRs Butch put in the league
Antonio Brown - CMU
Kenbrell Thompkins - Cincy

GA
Marlon Brown
Kris Durham
A.J Green

Georgia Tech puts more WR in the league then you do. Your bush league, and doing it on the recruiting board.

So stats don't matter now, right. Greene was the better QB because he played on a better team. That makes sense. I'm sure you think Terry Bradshaw is a top 5 QB all time too.

No. Greene was a better QB because he was a better QB that made much better decisions than Rick and Eric. The wins are simply a product of that. He did play on a drastically better team though, I won't argue that.

I don't think Bradshaw is one of the best ever, but I'll bet you think Jamarcus Russell is because..well, just look at that arm and all those college stats. By God, he might be almost as good as Braysus.

Get your head out of the stat sheet, moneyball, and try actually watching the QBs play sometime.

Once again, reading comprehension. I never said Bray was better. You're the one that said UT hasn't had a good QB since Manning. I'm just showing multiple examples of UT that have been better, statistically, than some of these Gods from Athens that you have on a pedestal.

Bray was average at best. Greene wasn't any "God" and I haven't said that he was. Just pretty good and his W column backs that up. You attempted to say that Clausen, Bray, Ainge, etc were as good as Stafford, which is simply ridiculous. As though UT could point to all these incredible QBs and we only had Matt. That is miles from the truth and all your stats do is provide those dreamsicle sunglasses through which to view things.

And how many of them did Azzanni actually coach?

And you don't actually think any of those guys are in AJ's league...do you?
