Wow, that's as butthurt as it gets. LMAO...the conspiracy theories are starting to become quite entertaining. I guess Grimes is one of the best kept secrets we have....it doesn't ever surprise me that OL line up to play for him.

yeah, recruiting wise, adding Mizzou to the mix won't help Arky's recruiting either. With already having to battle the Oklahoma teams, they will struggle even more

Aub record: 169-75 pct: .692
Losing seasons : Ark 7 Aub 3
10+ winning seasons : Ark 3 Aub 5
Ark's best record: 11-2. Auburn 4 seasons with 0-1 losses.Finishes in top 25 AP polls: Ark 5 AU 12.
Top ten finishes : Ark 1 Auburn 5. I don't think 1 season ahead would constitute a trend or even 2 or 3. Let's say ya'll closed the gap a little. By your way of thinking, I guess that Vand has passed Tenn since they beat them last year and had the better record

Don't cloud this thread with FACTS!!

I wasn't alive in 1971 and $100 says you weren't either.

So, yeah, enjoy that.

You are correct that Arkansas IN STATE recruiting base is not that big, we will probably only take 5-6 instate in a pretty good year from now on. HOWEVER, we recruit Eastern Oklahoma and Texas fairly well, have a presence in Arizona, pull some from Alabama and seem to do pretty well with players from our 'base'. We are developing a 'national' presence as well and are starting to pluck a recruit or two out of non traditional areas.

I count three times that Auburn had a beef, including 83, 93, and 04. That being said, until Cam and Fairly, Auburn was always the bridesmaid.

No beef with '93. Was a helluva team and it was fun being there to see'em go undefeated, but that schedule they played was less than average. And we didn't play a bowl game (through our own fault).

1983 Auburn was absolutely robbed. Best team in the country that year.

2004 Auburn was absolutely robbed of an OPPORTUNITY.

1993? Not so much.

Question for Arky fans : Are ya'll happy with this years recruiting ? Looking at rivals.com and Scout.com it looks like you range from 21st -33rd in the country and 9th-11th in the SEC. Is this a usual recruiting year or a down year ? I would think with Petrino being there for 4 years and having such a good year, recruiting would be a little better.
