That kind of thing does happen, but Burch has been pretty much radio silent throughout his recruitment. You got some twitter likes, snapchat posts, instagram posts - what the frick are you basing this on? It honestly just sounds like LSU fans making up a new version of "we didn't really want him anyway" to make yourselves feel better about losing out on a player.

I doubt anyone really knows but most kids who do this just want to make sure their position coach or head coach will still be there when they enroll. Tyrique Stevenson did it last year for UGA.

Unless Muschamp does something illegal between now and signing day there's no reason South Carolina would fire him.
