why is Burch at Hammond anyway? They produce lots of 5* KA's and SAE's,

If you were a badass recruit, destined to land in the NFL, would you want to go to school with a bunch of badass football players or sexy women?

Kids the only one doing it the right way in the entire class imo. Kid sounds like a boss

How's LSU's pursuit of DJ Uiagalelei going?

THats just a rumor. There’s nothing concrete on DJ interest in LSU.

Let's not act like LSU has never had top players or top classes.

LSU typically does recruit very well, but it doesn't seem like LSU has typically had this many kids from a wide range of other states who betrayed their obligations to their home state schools' fans to come play at LSU.

Tua Tagovia- Hawaii
Blake Barnett- California
Jalen Hurts- Texas
Najee Harris- California

You’re mad because now we have the top resources and the hottest team in the country.

Sorry that the giants awake.

On the contrary, they have.

LSU has had numerous kids out of Georgia, Florida, South Carolina and the North East. We have 3 coaches from USC and Burton out of California has Louisiana ties. This idea that Louisiana lives and dies on Louisiana talent is sheer ignorance.

LSU's 2020 class has more players from regions outside the SE than the previous three classes combined.

Exactly, more volume of the same recruiting areas. Orgeron made it a point to tap more into some of the smaller wells we typically hit. Recruiting has much to do with connections and relationships.

shite. LSU continuing to win will solidify these la recruits and lock down the state for LSU in the future. Coach O has a great recruiting strategy and does prioritize la kids first, as he should with the talent we have here, but he has also used his ties and this staffs ties to other areas to start building a base for LSU in those areas. These aren't average players either, they're great players. If we continue to recruit nationally like this and lock down the Louisiana talent, look out. This will be a scary program under orgeron. I believe we are already on that path to where he invisions LSU football being, and it's going to be epic. Geaux Tigers.

In 2017, 2018 & 2019 combined, LSU landed a kid from NY and a kid from WV -- that's all. The rest were mostly from LA & TX with a few from from other SE states. In 2020 LSU has 4 high-ranked kids from the DMV area who committed last spring pretty suddenly. That isn't "tapping more into some of the smaller wells typically hit."

With new coaches come new connections with previous relationships in some of those areas. Factor in #1 offense in the country it's not hard to see why some recruits might have interest in the new system.

You replied while I was editing my post. I get why a guy like Arik Gilbert would be attracted to LSU's new offense. But, the 4 DMV kids committed kind of suddenly in the spring and 3 of them play defense. Who's the new LSU coach with strong DMV connections?

Like I told you in other post. Bama better get over themselves . We are the flavor of the year . Kids really want to play at LSU. We don’t have to be cheating for kids to actually rather come to LSU rather then Bama. All good things come to an end.
