It's Avery Johnson's world, we're just living in it.

Future hardwood iron bowl featuring 2 ranked teams in the very near future? Cool.

Gotta love that SEC network money. And having damn near every game on tv. There's no reason SEC should struggle anymore.

The quality of SEC basketball should start getting better really soon. Tons of good coaches in the league now. Being a basketball fan first, I've been waiting for this for a long time.

Definitely. My hopes is the SEC can get as competitive as the B10. That has by far always been my favorite conference to watch for basketball. Indiana, Michigan, Purdue, Michigan State, Wisconsin, Ohio State, and now Maryland. It's always had good quality basketball.

Hopefully Rick Barnes can turn around Tennessee also. Florida won't stay down too long and I like Mike White. Mississippi State should turn it around with Ben Howland. And of course now throw in Auburn and Alabama with Pearl and Avery.

This is a big time pickup. I've seen Petty, Lacey and all the Langfords play and to me Petty is head and shoulders above the rest. Very skilled and very athletic. Kid can play.

Yeah, the SEC is about to become a really good and deep conference. Like others have said you got Bama, auburn, tenn, msu coming up hard! Elite coaches who are now getting their elite players. Then you have florida and texas a&m who are a strong. Vandy and south carolina are always solid. Then of course Kentucky.

Agree 100% Petty is special. I'm probably going to see him tonight.
