I wouldn’t go this far, especially with LSU’s history of putting running backs into the nfl.
However, I’m perfectly fine with Davis and Cain and losing out on emery. I think it’s a fair trade for both schools and fan bases

I think it's very unwise to think LSU is out of the running for a LA player that they really want.

He no-showed their elite camp and they offered an AL 3* shortly after. They’re probably not completely out, but they’re pretty out of it based on all indications.

LSU’s momentum from Saban/Miles wave has finally hit the shore.

Miss state won so many west titles. Why wouldn’t he pick them

LOL ain't no one giving up, more like moving on with Cain! Both great backs but Emery not wanting to be on a team with another top five running back. JS

Maybe the offense and relationship with the coaches. I mean, our RB coach did recruit and develop Saquon Barkley... Pretty big selling point. Especially because Saquon wasn't even a five star.

He's 35. He hasn't been around the game that long. So having that in his track record already is pretty good.

Like it or not, State has been putting stars in the NFL and they getting paid. That’s all these kids are worried about ultimately, getting to the next level.

Emery just said he's delaying his announcement now, that's not working in states favor. He was going to commit there next weekend.

Huff had about as much to do with Barkley’s success as Juluke did with Fournette.

You’re going with your gut on this one

LSU ain't letting this kid get out of state. I'm sure they just had a good face to face with him.
