I'm sure if BAMA did offer him and he went elsewhere it obviously would be because BAMA offered too late.

That is one if the reasons despite all the "perceptions" of LF I'm still willing to believe Bama staff likes it chances because there were several guys at the position Bama skipped on, an in-state stud who by all accounts grew up a Bama fan and is currently committed to AU, a 5 star kid out of Cali that "says" he'd commit on spot with an offer
Yet staff has kept those on the back burner and is still after LF, and if LF picks Bama on JANUARY 2ND there are enough factors to make sense out of it even for LSU fans that aren't paying attention
Bama's staff and Saban don't seem like the kind of recruiters who would keep pursuing a prospect that is as locked up as LSU fans claim, case in point is Malachi Dupree, and Saban even liked Dupree and staff didn't waste much time
