Fwiw, trusted poster on the Bama board says Alabama is going to make a big push for him. We haven't really been associated with him until now I know of.

We'll see if we have any luck.

We are going to close out this class really strong. We have 4 spots left to fill out this class and the guys we look to be in the lead for and are heavy leans to LSU will boost our class to around the nunbers 7 spot nationally. The main thing is that we filled our neeDs with quality guys at key positions for us. This will he a damn good class for us, but next year is going to be the class that will be outstanding, as louistana is absolutely loaded with talent.

IF he doesn't go to LSU, where will he go?

At this time, looks like no room at Alabama.
I’m thinking Florida State. Taggart needs a win in Florida and I don’t think LSU is going to have room for him. Priority for LSU is

1. Surtain
2. James Foster
3. Jamar Chase
4. Kelvin Joseph
5. Mario Goodrich
6. Harold Joiner
7. Justin Watkins
8. Lawrence Keys
9. Glenn Beal

With that said- I don’t think we will land Foster or Joiner and there’s a good chance that we lose either Goodrich or Jamar Chase.

2) 4* LB Quay Walker
3) 3* LB Vernon Jackson
0) 3* TE Michael Parker (blueshirt)

Top Targets:
4) 5* CB Tyson Campbell
4) 5* CB Isaac Taylor-Stuart
5) 5* OT Nicholas Petit-Frere
5) 4* OT Penei Sewell
6) 4* WR Justyn Ross
6) 4* WR Jaylen Waddle
6) 4* WR Jacob Copeland
7) 4* QB James Foster
8) 4* DT Michael Thompson
8) 4* DT Tyler Friday

I'm curios as to what LSU fans think of James Foster. It seems 75% of Bama fans don't like him.

My prediction on DAWGS remaining class - and I don't think any commit that is unsigned has a likely spot:

1) Rick Sandidge, 4-star DT (Concord, NC) - I know South Carolina is the heavy favorite, but just like Kirby to pull a few big dawgs out of his magic hat and this is one of them.

2) Isaac Taylor-Stuart, 5-star CB(San Diego, CA) - again, Dawgs will be the underdog for this California kid. Excited for his visit and wants to meet up w/ the rainmaker - QB Justin Fields.

3) Otis Reese, 4-star MLB/SS (Lee County, GA) - Michigan commit but likes UGA a lot and Kirby is in hot pursuit. The hometown team wins out and this headhunter will set the tone for Dawgs defense in a few years. Reportedly needs to get grades up.

4) Tommy Bush, 4-star WR (Schertz, TX) - just a guy that slots perfectly into the Javon Wims role in the Chaney offense. The family had a great visit to Athens and they feel valued and wanted - and they are!

supposedly we can sign 5 but would not be surprised if we just stuck to 4 more. Also in consideration are OLB-Quay Walker, CB-Mario Goodrich and DT Michael Thompson.

Factoring in Auburn and UNC. I think Florida is the favorite still.

Hank South spoke to Gerald recently and he says he hasn't spoken to anyone from Alabama in a while.

He is still committed to Florida for now, but I also think Auburn believes they have a chance at Gouraige because of the coaching change at Florida. Some Auburn people believe they have a better chance at him than Barnes. Both will visit Auburn in January

It's pretty much Auburn and Florida last I had seen wasn't it?

I think we land him. We have three really good OT's on the board with Gator leans...so we need to get two of them for sure

Auburn has 15 signed and 5 committed. For our 10 remaining signings:
1. P Arryn Sippos - 100%
2. DE Richard Jibunor - 100%
3. DT Coynis Miller - 100%
4. WR Matthew Hill - 99%
5. LB/S Kolbi Fuqua - 50% (he may get bumped)
These five guys are already committed.
6. WR Anthony Schwartz - (down to Auburn and Florida, commits at Army AA game Jan. 4th)
7. CB (either Benjie Franklin or Rodger McCreary)
8. OT (one out of Richard Gouriage, William Barnes, and Nicholas Petit-Ferer, other two go to Florida)
9. TE (either Nathaniel Watson or Matt Alaimo)
10. One of Quay Walker, Justin Ross, and Dylan Wonnum. If 2 of the three want to come then I think Fuqua loses his spot. If all three want to come or another of the tackle group above want to come I have no idea.

I would be very surprised if Schwartz is a Gator. I don't think he is a high priority with the new staff

I would take this in a heartbeat. I think one of the 3 will end up at Bama.
