He might not show at LSU this weekend and if he doesn't its a done deal for Bama, if he does LSU has one last shot to sway him back
Some of these kids go off the wave of momentum in recruiting and right now Bama has it for him, he's an impressionable kid
If he just wanted to go to a football game, why not use his official visits to go to big games? Why did he attend the LSU vs Kent State game when he could have been in College Station for the "Game of the Century"? He has had to pay to go to the games. You know that if Hootie was making tons of visits to Bama you would be screaming from the roof tops that he's a Bama lock. Most of us knew that Cam was gone because he went to Bama every chance he got. Most of think we get Hootie because he's doing the exact opposite.

And this is the exact opposite of everything we've heard from people around the Neville program. They all say he's one of the most level-headed kids they've met will make the best decision for him, not one that pleases his friends. Nothing "impressionable". If you want to, I can go get nevilletiger. He talks to Hootie everyday.

Hey it's my assessment of what has happened in the last few weeks in his recruitment, he might be level-headed etc but when 1 friend, then another, then 3 all pick the opposite school and most of LSU's secondary is young right? Bama has more pressing needs in the secondary
I don't know exactly what happened but his interest seemed to sway to Bama (hunch is Ronnie Clark coming to Bama, but that is just a hunch)
All that being said I still believe (unlike I thought with Big Cam which is what I told you) this one is far from over regardless of whether he picks Bama or LSU all the way up till the EE date, I also believe both his visits (if he shows up for LSU) and Bama's game vs LSU (his Bama OV) will both have a huge impact
That's why I'm not as confident as some on him, it's not over

He lives really far away and keeps showing up. I could see it being a Landon Collins situation, but he lived right down I10 and it really was the hot ticket in his town. Hootie has gone well out of his way to visit LSU, and by all indications will be this weekend to hang out with a ton of LSU commits. All that after supposedly wanting to commit to Bama? You have to admit that sounds retarded.

I'm not buying that. Most of that info is coming from his recruiter and current Bama commits/players. Harris was pretty confident with CRob too. If he does show does that mean it's a done deal for LSU? All the chatter coming out for Bama is the same stuff that was coming out in favor of LSU for CRob. All this crap about the parents being shopping buddies and getting the old flag football team back together is laughable.

Which is why I'm not worried. Bama has the full-court press on him right now, so of course he's gonna be wowed by the attention. LSU will respond.

I know there is a 99.99999% chance of it not happening, but how many pages if LF goes to Bama? Has the Rant ever seen a thread that would compare to that?
The Rant has never seen anything that would compare to that. I honestly would stop reading and posting for a good long while. I would worry for Les's safety, we've been all in for LF for a long time. I've seen no reason to be concerned, but it would be catastrophic.

I haven't watched much of his high school film. Any recent SEC safety he reminds you of? I've seen some say he reminds them of Mark Barron in high school

Actually, Loston is a senior and our other safteys do not posses Hootie's skill or athleticism. He should be able to slide in and start next year at either school.

Once again, just going off of what people around Neville say, I don't think he'd be one to be completely swayed by other's decisions. Will it have some bearing, yeah. But I doubt it would be that big of a factor. Look at Landon Collins. We took Dwayne Thomas, Debo Jones, and Jerqwinick Sandolph, all of whom grew up living on the same street as LC before Katrina. Didn't matter at all in the end. LC made what he thought was the best decision for himself and I think Hootie will do the same. Whether that at LSU or Bama is the question.

I'm not sure that he's going to use his OV for this weekend. I think it'd be another UV. I think he will use his OV for the bye week before the Bama game.

Landon never visited LSU, and when he did, he went into a room to watch the Alabama game with his girlfriend. Nothing like Hootie, a lot like Cam.
Also a quick question for the Bama fans. Y'all know if LC is still with ol' girl?

pretty sure he went to many of the lsu home games
Yall care way too much about trying to convince someone of the opposite fanbase what you beleive.
Neither side knows what's going on inside this kids head today and what that means a month from now.

It's after 3 on a friday and typing responses makes me look busy. Some say cucumbers taste better pickled. Quack quack goes the duck.

I don't have a problem with bucc, but he's saying exactly the same thing that Shea has said recently about the visits in the next few weeks.

Serious question here,
Gerald Willis hasn't made it to an LSU game at all this season, but he's been to Bama at least twice this season.
Using the same logic that some of you are using, does that mean he's coming to Bama?

Word out of Monroe is that he's going for the free trip and will commit to the tigers. Reason he's waiting until week after
