Pretty much everyone who generally knows anything are predicting Hootie to Bama over on the LSU RB.

So be it.

Losing Landon Collins. Cam Robinson, and Hootie Jones to Alabama over the last few years hurts, no doubt. But, it is what it is. Saban has pulled away and has the better team and program.

LSU will pull in 7 five stars, though, and a boat load of 4 stars and aren't giving up. They will keep fighting. Proud to be a Tiger fan, as always.

I'll agree, looks bleak. Also, LSU seems to be turning up heat on Adams is very telling IMO. No loss in talent if they get Adams, just a hit in North La...

North Louisiana is being raided by Saban. Suddenly, there are Alabama fans all over that part of the state. Really weird. You don't see fans of other schools out of state just emerge in an area like that.

LSU will address it. They have to. But, for now, Saban is taking who he wants, it seems.

Your logic is faulty.

shea and Sonny earn their living by selling subscriptions. it would be a conflict of interest to dim up the hype this close to the annoucement and change the picks they made in April.

Jimmy works for a public newspaper, so he is only bound by the trust of the recruits he interacts with, and not bound by creating suspense.

Inside sources, redfield and jimmy smith find out Hootie is set for Bama and almost exactly the same time Jamal Adams schedules two visits.

Seems like we made Hootie higher priority and now are heating up Adams recruitment. Adams is very responsive, and I would bet we end up inking him with the way this all went down.

This isnt an indictment of Adams skill set. The staff may have felt they were close in talent, but chose their instate option because its better strategy.

In retrospect, we will never know if offering or pursuing Cam Sims or Ronnie clark would have made the difference. if it would have, i think we could all agree we should have taken sims/clark to secure c rob and hootie to lockdown our state.

The good news is that the realized they needed to step up their efforts up north and switched Hayley to the main recruiter for the area. if He can do to the north even something in the same ballpark as Frank does with nola, we will fort Knox lockdown this state!

Also, perhaps we replace stud, and upgrade with a better recruiter.

Im happy we recruit well outta state, and it does help slow the damage, but relocking down the north will totally stop the bleeding.

Here's to all the instate kids that know what a Capital dick Saban is, and only wanna suit up in the PnG and rep the boot!

I'm no insider, I get my information from 247 and whatever others dump in our recruiting board. I don't even understand some of these insiders. I'm the Godbrother of an extremely high profile 5-star from last class and I knew where he was going, have never said where he would go to and never discussed it. I try not to discuss him at all. Just weird for me that people close to the family learn private info then run online to 'show and tell'. Anyways, I've digressed...
