You'll never convince me that Cummings isn't the better usage of a scholly compared to a kicker -- especially when said kicker could accept a walk-on spot and "earn" a scholarship opportunity in his first semester on campus and not count against the class.
He was promised a GS. He wasn't just some walk on. Freeze honored it but for your info with Gross (SO),Bennett (JR), Hooks (JR) Martin (JR) Reed (SO) Hamilton(SO) Herb (FR) as our DT rotation, yes we need a PK when the only one we on campus will he a senior next year who has never kicked a FG in a SEC game.

ETA: Are we just listing every roster DT now as a part of the rotation now -- and expecting that to explain away a severe lack of depth at the position?

Your wording is off of I'm not understand what you're saying? Every DT I listed was in the rotation except herb who is in this class. I was just showing you what our rotation will be next season, except Herb will RS. Woody got hurt but when was healthy played more than Martin did. We are loaded at DT.
With the kickers we have one with a scholarship and that's Ritter who will be gone next year. Kid from Bama will be our kicker from 14 till he graduates.
Edit: ok now I think I understand your wording if you are questioning our depth at DT, that may be the dumbest thing you've posted in this thread

I don't know wtf he's talking ab anymore.
I mean, I expect certain state fans to pop one off anytime we lose anything but him questioning our DT depth? Really? And wanting to break down every last scholly while questioning Freeze's recruiting intelligence?
Butthurt gonna butthurt.
And he's pretty butthurt.

Or Alabama is writing them like they always have.

New food for thought, didn't supposedly Yancy or McCready say Saban and Freeze were good friends and Saban would send Freeze recruits? Looks like freeze got punked by St. Nick on Christmas.

This is just my opinion here. Take it for what it's worth. I assumed that Bama wasn't that high on Hill. They weren't sure he'd make his grades and when he did they weren't sure if they wanted to take him so they slow played him. Freeze, knowing nothing about the agreement Hill signed, went after Hill and got him to commit. After further evaluating Hill and his class, Bama decided they wanted Hill. They tried to get him to commit on the OV and he didnt because OM tried to convince he could get out of the agreement. They waiting a few weeks to see if they could and released he couldn't so he committed back to Bama. That is just my opinion off of what I've heard from this recruitment over the past three weeks. No idea if its true.
This is just utter stupidity.
Alabama recruited and signed Hill in the 2012 class because they wanted him.
Alabama continued to recruit him when he went to Hargrave because they wanted him.
The only reason Hill flipped to Ole Miss was to make his mother happy so he would be closer to home.
Alabama continued to recruit Hill after he flipped because they wanted him (are you seeing a trend here yet?).
Hill has always wanted to go to Alabama. Once Mama gave her blessing he switched back.
All this talk about a "super secret document that only Whereisomaha has ever heard of" is fricking ridiculous.

That was soemthing an OM poster said on here and most only took that as joke and not serious ... to think otherwise is retarded ... yeah Nick & Hugh could be friends but to say he is going to send kids to a divisional opponent is stupid too.

I saw this as well I just don't know if I truly believe this is true, I tend to lend to what the gump ^^^ above said about how Hill wanted to be there all along

I do know such an agreement exists. Whether Hill signed it, I don't know.
How do you know it exists? Do you have a link to any article or story mentioning it?
We all know that recruits sign LOIs that bind them to the school they sign with. Hill signed one on NSD. LOIs are voided when the signee fails to meet enrollment requirements for that school. Hill went to Hargrave. Hargrave is well known for strongly encouraging a player to stick with whatever 4 year school he was committed to when he arrived at Hargrave.
Is it possible that Yancy somehow mixed the above facts up and came away with the conclusion that Hill signed some agreement that bound him to Bama after finishing Prep school? It does seem improbable that a competent person who has covered recruiting for any length of time could make such a mistake.

It is Yancy intentionally misleading in order to calm his flock. Nothing more or less.
When he has message board warriors like WiO going to bat for his every word, he can say whatever he wants with zero fear it will be met with skepticism among those who read his work. It just looks ridiculous to everyone else in the outside world...

Hand to God here - about a week ago I found out from a extremely legitimate source that there were some serious red flags with Brandon Hill's transcripts. Like, our Vice Chancellor and head of admissions calling meetings kinda red flags. Believe me, don't believe me - it's the truth.
Don't think for a second that I am implying we "let him go to Bama", by no means am I saying that. Also, my source is ab as far away from Yancy as it gets. My only point in saying this is that for ab the last week I've known that Brandon Hill wasn't gonna play a down for OM.
I hate that we lost him but when you're in a fight with Bama for a previous signee of theirs, you can't get too butthurt when it doesn't work out.

7 pages and a retard thread on the SECR on a 3-star freaking recruit. Only Ole Miss fans could prolong this.

Nope. State fans are actually prolonging it. For some unknown reason :REBCESSED:

Far more believable than the BS Yancy is going with.

I haven't checked but isn't the CL reporting the same thing Yancy is?

The CL is using Yancy as "a source close to the OM athletics department" -- and looking just as ridiculous in the process. Also said that no such information has come from the Alabama side.
Basically, Kellenberger read the Spirit and BOL last night and somehow conglomerated an article out of it.

I don't know if people read only sentences or just a single post but I do not know how to make myself more clear.
I have said I have heard of this argreement, but do not know if its the one in question with Hill
I have said I have no idea if Hill signed such a document, yet y'all are saying that I did
All I've done is explained what Yancy has said he believes is true. Because its Yancy, everyone assumes he's making it up. My entire argument has been... WHY... Why make it up? Engie said its to calm the flock. And even though I asked him last night why we would need to be calmed down by losing a previously committed kid to the best program in te country, he still is saying the same "he's just calming the flock" bullshite today.
I just listened to Neil's podcast. He has no idea about a document. Doesn't know if its true or false, but said there is a compliance issue.
All I've done is argue with people who are saying Yancy is lying just because he's Yancy. And all I've done is ask why he would do that when everyone is gunning for his subscribers. He never said Hill is ours and we locked him up so there would be no reason to make shite up to cover his arse. If his "flock" understands losing a previously committed player to the top program in the country, why would he make it up.
